LAFFARTS Material Guide
LAFFARTS Gallery works with pieces, surfaces and finishes that visibly change spaces: reflective gold optics, black gold, gold leaf details, airbrush decorations, stainless steel, fiberglass, resin, bronze and galvanic gold plating for suitable metal objects.
01 · Surfaces and finish
At LAFFARTS, gold is not a single material, but a visual world: warm metallic finish, reflective gold look, chrome gold, black gold, gold leaf accents, bronze tones and hand-set details. What matters is which finish suits the room, the lighting mood and the desired effect.
For sculptures and interior pieces that absorb and reflect light and immediately create a high-quality eye-catcher.
For selected accents that can be set as a visible detail by gold leaf artists or finishing partners.
For individual color gradients, black-gold effects, pop art motifs and surfaces that are coordinated with a project.
For larger sculptures, hotel areas, villas, showrooms and special pieces with a stable shape and a strong long-distance effect.
02 · Size and proportion
Smaller pieces work when viewed closely: office objects, collectibles, gift ideas and golden details for showcases.
Medium formats are strong for interior designers, offices and private spaces because they remain visible without cluttering up the space.
Large sculptures made of fiberglass, stainless steel, resin or metal become eye-catchers for entrances, stairwells and representative rooms.
03 · Space and use
A sideboard needs different proportions than a staircase. An executive office different finishes than a private living room. That's why we think about material, finish, format and location together: from a golden collector's item to a large custom sculpture.
04 · Finishing and handover
Electroplated gold plating is particularly suitable for matching metal objects and jewelry. Gold leaf, airbrush, chrome finish, gold look and fiberglass sculptures follow other technical paths. We name the design in such a way that it remains clear whether it is a gold look, decorative finish or real gold plating.
FAQ
Gold look describes a decorative surface with a golden effect, for example metallic finish, chrome gold or lacquered finish. Real gold plating is only called this if it is actually made with an appropriate gold plating.
Fiberglass, resin, stainless steel, metal or bronze are often used for larger sculptures. The right choice depends on location, size, weight, finish and desired effect.
Gold leaf details, airbrush decorations, black-gold effects or individual surfaces can be planned for selected projects. To do this, we coordinate the motif, background, format and desired effect in advance.
For strong individual pieces, start with sculptures or statement pieces. Office decor is suitable for offices. For gifts and collectibles, Premium Gold Gifts and Collector Edition are the quickest way to go.
